90-Day Asset Integrity Decision-Support Pilot

Digital Asset Passport · Evidence Capture · AI-Assisted Assessment · Human Review · Lifecycle Intelligence

Organisations that own, operate or inspect safety-critical physical assets across one or more sites.

1. The opportunity

Safety-critical assets generate valuable information at every stage of their lifecycle — identity, inspection observations, photographs, maintenance actions and status changes. In most organisations that information is spread across paper forms, spreadsheets, phone galleries and disconnected systems, so a simple question — what is the history, condition and current status of this specific asset? — takes hours to answer, if it can be answered at all.

Applicable asset types
Safety-critical physical assets
  • · Fire and life-safety equipment
  • · Gas and pressure assets
  • · Portable and fixed safety-critical plant
  • · Any serialised asset on a recurring inspection cycle

2. What the pilot is designed to prove

  • Faster, more reliable retrieval of the history, condition and evidence for any single asset.
  • A consistent digital workflow for identity, inspection records and visual evidence.
  • AI-assisted identification of configured visual findings, with qualified human review retained in the decision loop.
  • Portfolio-level visibility of status, inspection coverage and data-quality gaps.
  • A traceable lifecycle record that supports internal review and audit preparation.

3. Proposed 90-day pilot

Pilot element
Proposed scope
Duration
90 days
Pilot population
Up to 500–1,000 assets, subject to customer workflow and data availability
Users
A small nominated group of technical / inspection / operations users
Core workflow
Asset onboarding → digital asset passport → evidence capture → AI-assisted assessment → human review → lifecycle dashboard
Implementation
Configuration, onboarding support, user orientation and weekly / bi-weekly review sessions
Output
Pilot performance report, findings, recommended improvements and scale-up proposal
Pilot workflow examples
  1. 01Scan or search an asset and open its digital passport in seconds.
  2. 02Capture inspection evidence — photos, measurements, checklist outcomes — on a phone in the field.
  3. 03AI-assisted review organises potential findings; qualified personnel confirm or overrule them.
  4. 04Status, due dates and evidence update automatically on the asset record.
  5. 05Generate a lifecycle report with an evidence trail for internal review or audit.

4. Pilot success measures

Targets are agreed with the customer at the start of the pilot and reviewed at day 30, day 60 and day 90.

  • Time to retrieve the full record for a named asset (target: under 30 seconds).
  • Percentage of pilot assets carrying a complete digital identity and evidence set.
  • Percentage of scheduled inspections completed within their due window.
  • Reduction in inspection records that are incomplete, unreadable or unattributable.
  • Number of findings surfaced by the platform and confirmed by qualified personnel.
  • User adoption: technicians actively recording inspections without parallel paperwork.

5. Commercial structure

Pilot fee: QAR 10,000

The pilot fee covers configuration, onboarding support, pilot access, user orientation and pilot reporting. 100% of the pilot fee is credited toward the first annual Vulcan-7 subscription if the customer proceeds within the agreed conversion period.

The final pilot population, implementation requirements, data requirements and commercial terms will be confirmed in a mutually agreed Pilot Agreement before deployment.

6. What Vulcan-7 is — and is not

  • Vulcan-7 is a decision-support platform designed to organise evidence and provide AI-assisted analysis within a controlled workflow.
  • Human / qualified technical review remains part of the decision process.
  • Vulcan-7 does not replace statutory inspection, testing, certification or the responsibilities of qualified personnel.
  • Vulcan-7 is designed to complement existing CAFM, EAM, ERP and maintenance workflows rather than require their replacement.
  • Pilot outputs are subject to the agreed scope, available data and customer validation.

7. Proposed next step

A 30–45 minute discovery session is recommended before the pilot. The session confirms the current inspection workflow, data sources, user roles, pilot population and success measures. Vulcan-7 then provides a formal pilot proposal with the final scope and implementation plan.
